Test notes: Regulators with "P", "W" terminal - regulator pulse output terminal generally used for the vehicle’s tachometer. To check its operation, use the sensors test module in the Frequency function. Using the PU02 cable set, connect the green tip to the "IN" input, and then connect the green alligator clip to the "P" or "W" terminal. During the test, the LCD display will show the output frequency to the tachometer.
